April 27 – Sign Up Here

The community garden needs your help to get ready for the upcoming growing season. There are a number of projects to be completed to keep the garden looking and functioning beautifully. Volunteers with any building experience are greatly needed to complete some wood building projects in the garden. There are also roles that require no experience at all, so there is something for everyone.

Lunch will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own. For all roles, please dress appropriately for the weather: wear sunscreen and/or a hat, bring a water bottle, wear comfortable closed toed shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. If you have your own gardening or work gloves please bring them, if not then the BCA has gloves that you can borrow. We are also hoping to borrow additional tools for April 27. Volunteers are encouraged to bring extra shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and power drills. These tools will be labeled and returned to you at the end of the day or the end of your shift.

We are looking for new helping hands in 2024 to support the garden by serving in a number of volunteer positions. Click the buttons to learn more about each committee role!
