Ripples Grants are Back!

Ripples Grants are back and we’re so excited to see the ideas that our community bring to the table!

The Ripples Community Building Grant (Ripples) is a community grant program focused on resident-led projects for those living in Bowness, Greenwood Village, and Montgomery. With grants of up to $1000, the program aims to build vibrant and resilient neighbourhoods through supporting residents and their ideas; ideas that can create ripples throughout the community.

Established in 2011, Ripples was administered by BowWest Resource Centre, now Rise Calgary, with support from the Bowness Community Association and funding from the United Way of Calgary and Area. In 2023, the program moved to administration by the Bowness Community Association (BCA) with support from the Community Hubs project: a partnership between The City of Calgary and United Way of Calgary and Area. The BCA is one of five Community Hub sites (Bowness Hub).
