Run Bowness is a beloved community race that brings together runners, walkers, families, and neighbours for a fun and inclusive day in the heart of Bowness.
What started as a grassroots run organized by a local Bowness running group has grown into one of the neighbourhood’s signature annual events. Since 2011, the Bowness Community Association (BCA) has proudly hosted Run Bowness, helping it grow year after year. In 2025, the event welcomed over 600 participants, a testament to its welcoming spirit and strong community support.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, running your very first race, or cheering on friends and family, Run Bowness is designed for all skill levels and all ages.
