Community Nature Walk – Escarpment by Bowness Park
September 25 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm MDT

Friday September 25, 2026
2:00pm-4:00pm | All Ages | Drop-In
Come discover the biggest trees in Bowness. Over 70 Douglas Firs have a story of fire, drought, and kids from their 400 years as Bowness residents.
Meet at the West end of 33 Ave where it meets 48 Ave for a walk along the escarpment with some steep parts, similar to a mountain trail. For more information contact Anna Draper at communityhub@mybowness.com
Note: Some hiking experience would be beneficial, as the trail is a single-track path with some roots and moderate elevation gain.
